Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations within the Quebec region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial/manufacturing company. This position requires a strong understanding of financial management and reporting.

  • You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • You will analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • You will present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • You will implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
  • You will analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • You will monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • You will ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • You will oversee internal and external audits.
  • You can identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • You can manage and mentor the finance team.
  • You can coordinate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business goals.
  • You can foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.
