Job Description:

Converter Markets Sales Specialist

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Converter Markets Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Meet and/or exceed sales growth targets within assigned geography
  • Manage a robust hopper of sales opportunities and activities
  • Manage, support and build relationships at key converters and OEM customers
  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies at key converter customers
  • Train and support key divisional partners at OEM accounts

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of sales experience in a private, public, in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s license is required
  • Fluent in English-Speaking and Writing

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Previous experience in tape converting industry or within 3M Industrial & Safety Market Center
  • Experience calling on and managing corner office executive level relationships
  • Skills include: Presentation skills, CRM (Salesforce.com), written and verbal communication, business planning, sales experience
  • French Language Fluency

Work location:

  • Remote Based – Toronto, CA

Travel: May include up to 50% domestic
