What you will do:
• Design, develop and support Cloud Native scalable, high performance and robust User-Plane functions.• Ensure the operational reliability, availability, security and performance of cloud-based applications by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.• Work in a full-stack capacity - developing your service code as well as associated automated tests, deployment and monitoring code .• Apply containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and run applications in a cloud environment.• Work with our Cloud Native based continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software delivery process.• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in User-Plane Software_as_a_Service (SaaS) Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).• Work in a team using Lean, Agile and DevOps methodologies and tooling.
The skills you bring:
• Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science• Some knowledge in TCP/IP Networking, routing and high performance packet processing (DPDK, SR-IOV, Virtio).• Some experience in developing stateless Cloud Native SW components• Some experience with using Infra as Code (IaC), or Config as Code for SRE operational stability and reliability• Some experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (and/or AWS, Azure).• Some understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful /gRPC APIs, and cloud-based databases is a plus.• Some experience with CI/CD tools like Cloud Build, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.• Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, Google Deployment Manager or AWS CloudFormation is a plus.• Thrive working in a collaborative, generative team culture supporting our teammates and our customers.• Creativity and curiosity - a continuous learner with excellent problem-solving skills.

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
Salary Range: • Masters: $90,300• PhD: $100,700 - $111,300
Hiring Bonus: • Masters: $11,500 • PhD: $17,500
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security

Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two-times annual base pay at no cost, as well as short-term disability coverage.
