What are we looking for?

BetterHelp is looking for a Country Growth and Marketing Consultant (Canada) to develop and execute go-to-market and launch strategies- managing above-the-line channels to build awareness and favorability in Canada. This role requires someone with deep go-to-market expertise, the ability to plan multi-channel marketing for client acquisition, and experience influencing end-to-end product. Pre-launch activities will include: product localization & translation, marketplace supply & demand operations and pre-launch marketing & positioning. Post launch activities will include: planning and executing multi-channel marketing and overall revenue growth strategy.

What will you do? 
  • Go to market and launch strategy
  • Build and represent BetterHelp as a brand in Canada
  • Manage above the line channels to build awareness and favorability
  • Work and influence cross-functionally and asynchronously with BetterHelp HQ
  • Plan and execute growth partnerships to drive user acquisition and brand awareness
  • Manage translations of client acquisition creatives across all channels including Paid Search, Facebook, TikTok, TV, Podcast, and Radio
  • Manage translations of client and therapist user experience, emails, and other user-facing communications
  • Identify and onboard local marketing partners to acquire customers and build trust
  • Compile market and consumer insights to better inform product positioning

  • You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
  • You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate in Pacific Time and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. Employees may also be asked to visit our San Jose, CA office (up to three times per year) to build strong team connections and experience our culture. Travel expenses will be covered, and reasonable accommodations will be made for those with unique travel challenges.

Requirements
  • 10+ years working in fast-paced technology companies 
  • 5+ years consumer marketing experience
  • Experience launching and managing a new market a plus
  • Experience working in health sector a plus 
  • Familiarity with subscription businesses a plus
