Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Assistance de recherche pour un projet sur les politiques d'immigration et l'austérité. Effectuer une revue de littérature, synthétiser et analyser des sources juridiques et en sciences sociales. Participer à des rencontres à distance avec l’équipe de recherche.  
Research Assistance for a project on austerity and immigration policy. Assist with conducting a literature review and analyzing legal and social science sources related to immigration policies and austerity. Meet remotely with research team.
Avoir une formation en droit ou en sciences sociales.  Excellentes aptitudes en recherche, en analyse et en organisation. Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à respecter les échéanciers. Expérience en recherche documentaire et en revue de littérature académique.  Background in law or the social sciences. Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independenty, and meet deadlines. Experience conducting academic literature reviews.
