The Customer Experience Intern will support project work, enhance processes, and collaborate with multiple teams to improve customer experiences during a 14-16 week internship.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
VelocityEHS is accepting Co-op/Intern student applicants able to work 40 hours per week between the months of Sept - December 2025 for approximately 14-16 weeks.
This is a remote opportunity and is open to candidates that reside anywhere in the United States or Canada. The opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity out of our Oakville, ON or Ann Arbor, MI facilities is available for those interested.
Our Customer Experience (CX) Interns collaborate with multiple teams throughout the department, including Services, Success, Support, and more. You will contribute to the department's objectives and success through project work to streamline processes, execute deliverables, and bridge gaps between teams. We encourage exposure to a broad range of initiatives, and so you may also be asked to support cross-departmental initiatives with Sales, Product, Development, and Marketing. This internship provides a great opportunity to understand the intricacies of delivering a global customer experience.
We're looking for interns who will above all bring a positive attitude and a critical take on problem-solving. An ideal candidate has excellent people skills, strong attention to detail, the drive to execute efficiently, and the willingness to contribute to a team-focused dynamic. If you want to make a difference by being part of a solution that improves the workers' lives across environment, health, safety, and sustainability, this may be the right opportunity for you.
In this role, you will support our Customer Experience department alongside a mentor, a manager, and a core group of other interns on a daily basis. You will also work with multiple teams across the department over the course of your internship, and have opportunities to give presentations, manage projects, and set your own goals. You will complete onboarding and performance reviews similar to a full-time employee to gain experience and valuable feedback. Additionally, you will have access to Managers, Directors, and VPs on a regular basis.
In a typical week, you will manage various projects and deadlines. Project work varies from independent to collaborative, short term to long term. Past projects for interns in the CX department have included: contributing to the content and design of our customer Help Center, reaching out to customers as part of our User Conference campaigns, maintaining regulatory lists for chemical management, and testing the effectiveness of motion capture technology for ergonomics.
