You will do:
- Learn about Ericsson Base Station and Radio maintenance products for Remote (Milano FVs) and Indoor (IRUs, Dots and IC8855), and basebands (G3 and G4)
- Learn about NG-OLLS (Open RAN) and configuration with G4 Baseband and Cloud RAN (vDU)
- Support with case investigation and hands-on lab reproduction for issues occurred with Remote and indoor radios in customer networks
- Get familiar and execute Test Object List test cases for new Radios developed in Radio Product Canada (RPCA)
- Gather experience with Qualcomm UE SW and support PC installation in lab E
- Support with test cases automation by designing Moshell scripts for Node configuration (NG-OLLS), new features activation (e.g. Flexible IBW)
- Attend and prepare workshops, participation in knowledge transfer sessions
- Perform data analysis relating to Ericsson radios and the performance of our CIIG (Customer Issue & Investigation Group) team.
- Automate and use AI tools and agents frequently
You will bring:
- Enthusiasm and willingness to work with CIIG team and learn about Ericsson radio products and how the customers use them in 5G deployments across the world
- Familiar with programming, scripting languages (Python, Java, bash)
- Strong organization and communication skills (in English)
- Familiarity working in a Linux-based environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and their components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, amplifiers, diodes, etc).
- Basic understanding of computer networking
- Programming for automation and fluent with AI tools, AI agents and generative AI
- Basic Telecom and RF networking
Eligibility requirements:
- 2.7+ GPA or equivalent , Uploading an unofficial copy of your transcript
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op/internship
- Be available to work 40 hours per week
