Grow with us
At Ericsson, we connect people, businesses, and societies through cutting-edge mobile networks. We are now looking for a Customer Project Manager to lead the delivery and deployment of Mobile Radio Access Networks (RAN) for one of our most strategic customers in the UAE.
About this opportunity:
This is a high-visibility, customer-facing leadership role where you will take full accountability for complex network rollout projects, working at the intersection of technology, execution, and customer partnership.
As Customer Project Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for customer projects, ensuring delivery against contractual, financial, and operational targets while building a trusted and professional relationship with the customer organization. You will lead a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team and coordinate a broad stakeholder ecosystem across Ericsson and external partners. The role functionally reports to the Customer Operations Manager, with a dotted-line reporting to the Head of PMO, ensuring strong governance, delivery excellence, and professional development.
What you will do:
  • Establish and own the project baseline: scope, schedule, resources, and governance
  • Lead planning, execution, and deployment of mobile radio network projects (RAN, 5G)
  • Act as the primary interface towards the customer, building confidence, trust, and transparency
  • Drive project execution: track progress, manage changes, risks, conflicts, and critical issues
  • Lead and motivate a technically proficient, culturally diverse team
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders including Supply, Sourcing, Finance, and Operations
  • Manage external partners and third-party service providers (e.g. installation services)
  • Own project financials: forecasting, cost control, revenue recognition, and margin protection
  • Ensure compliance with OHS, EMS, Security, and Anti-Corruption requirements
  • Contribute to pre-sales and RFQ activities when required
  • Drive continuous improvement of project methods, tools, and ways of working

The skills you bring:
  • Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or equivalent experience
  • Solid experience delivering Mobile Network / RAN rollout projects, including 5G
  • Strong customer-facing project leadership experience in complex environments
  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder ecosystems (customer, internal teams, suppliers)
  • Financial acumen with hands-on experience managing project budgets and forecasts
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluency in English & Arabic

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with operators in the Middle East
  • Experience with modernization, swap, and large-scale rollout programs
  • PMP / Prince2 or equivalent certification
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and subcontractors
  • Exposure to project sales processes and contract management
