Job Description
The BAE Systems Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is looking for a SecOps-inspired full stack developer. This developer will solve complex cyber defense challenges by creating custom applications integrating with other state-of-the-art defense systems. These solutions would often be needed rapidly and focused on automation, detection, and data collection. The developer will also work closely with and develop solutions for other teams on the GSOC including Operations, Threat Intelligence, Malware Analysis, Endpoint Threat Detection, and Insider Threat.

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Technical Requirements
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and programming languages
- Strong background in software development
- Diverse experience in system management, database design, backend development, and frontend development
- Ability to deploy and manage applications on Linux-based servers and containers
- Ability to document code and solutions
- Eligibility to obtain/maintain a security clearance
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with other developers and security analysts
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Software Development, Computer Security, or Computer Science Degree
- Certifications related to development or security such as CIW certificates, Project+, OSCP, etc...
- Must have knowledge with cyber security and/or penetration testing
- Experience in leading development projects, agile sprints, etc...
- Full stack development experience
- Linux and containerization experience
- Although we do not require specific language or technology experience, we prefer the following:
- Containerization: Docker, Docker Compose
- Virtualization & Infrastructure: AWS, VMWare vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, FlatCar OS
- Infrastructure Management: Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Salt, Nagios
- Databases: MongoDB, Redis, MySQL/MariaDB
- Backend: Rust, Python, NodeJS, Flask, Express, Websockets
- Frontend: TypeScript, React, Sass
- OS: Linux in general, RHEL, Ubuntu
