We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team and help drive data-driven decision making across our homecare SaaS platform. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets to uncover insights that improve patient outcomes, optimize caregiver operations, and enhance our software platform's performance. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to translate data into actionable business intelligence.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Midtown Manhattan, with an on-site presence required 2 days per week to support team collaboration.

Essential Job Duties

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze user behavior, platform usage patterns, and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Develop automated reporting solutions to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions and product development initiatives
  • Healthcare & Homecare Domain Expertise
  • Analyze patient care data to identify patterns that can improve health outcomes and care delivery
  • Monitor compliance-related metrics and reporting requirements specific to healthcare regulations
  • Evaluate caregiver scheduling optimization, patient-caregiver matching effectiveness, and care plan adherence rates
  • Support analysis of clinical quality measures and patient safety indicators
  • Technical Data Management
  • Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources including our SaaS platform, third-party integrations, and external healthcare systems
  • Maintain data integrity and implement quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data collection and storage practices
  • Design and implement data models to support analytical requirements
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with product managers to analyze feature usage and inform product roadmap decisions
  • Support customer success teams with data-driven insights to improve client retention and satisfaction
  • Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Work with sales teams to develop data-backed proposals and customer success stories

Travel Requirements

  • Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related analytical field
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in SaaS, healthcare, or related technology environments
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and statistical analysis
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing
  • Experience working with large datasets and database management systems
  • Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases
  • Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent business intelligence tools
  • Analytics Platforms: Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar product analytics tools
  • Spreadsheets: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and statistical functions
  • Version Control: Git for collaborative analysis and code management

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in healthcare, homecare, or senior care industries
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and compliance requirements (HIPAA, state regulations)
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques
  • Background in SaaS metrics and customer lifecycle analysis
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimental design
  • Certification in data analysis tools or methodologies

The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $115,000-$125,000/yr not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
