About the Job

Twilio is looking for a curious, action-oriented Analyst for the Deal Desk Team who lives the Twilio Magic to support our North American Go-to-Market motion. This is an exciting role for an individual to gain and expand a broad spectrum of cross-functional interactions and contribute to non-standard commercial agreements or Order Forms (OF). This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to evaluate, structure, and execute deals in a way that is a “win-win” for both customers and Twilio. The ideal candidate is passionate, dedicated, and able to understand complex problems while providing financially sound, clearly communicated explanations and solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish trusted working relationships with Deal Desk team members, Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Finance and Sales.
  • Ensure forward deal momentum while providing excellent customer service to our Sales partners, as well as troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues with deal velocity especially during month and quarter end.
  • Help educate, guide, and ensure that the Sales and GTM Operations Team follows the proper internal contracting policies and processes.
  • Analyze deal economics for standard and non-standard agreements, including pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and margin impact.
  • Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals by evaluating tradeoffs across price, term, volume, and risk while aligning with Twilio’s financial guardrails.
  • Build and review basic financial models and scenarios to support non-standard deal requests and approval decisions.
  • Provide end-to-end quote to signature support for AEs, including: CPQ quote building, pricing and order form approvals assistance, OF creation, Docusign execution and opportunity closure.
  • Under supervision of manager or senior team member, collaborate with sales to create non-standard language requests for contracting (order form)  in compliance with corporate policies.
  • Surface recurring deal patterns, approval exceptions, and operational friction points, and contribute to continuous improvement of deal desk processes and workflows.
Qualifications

Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. Twilio values diverse experiences in other industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. While having “desired” qualifications make for a strong candidate, we encourage applicants with alternative experiences to also apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Required:
  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree plus minimum 2 years experience in Deal Management, Sales Operations, Sales, Finance, or Business Operations preferably in contracting, procurement, or billing operations. If no degree, a minimum of 4 years relevant experience is required.
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skills, with the ability to assess deal economics and explain financial tradeoffs clearly.
  • A diligent, detail oriented skill set, able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities at one time, while remaining extremely organized.
  • Self-starter with a “can do” attitude who is comfortable asking questions
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial analysis and scenario modeling.
  • High integrity character that aligns with the Twilio Magic
