The Data & Access team focuses on helping people get more out of 1Password. We do this by helping them to get more into 1Password through enabling them to efficiently create, organize and find the information most important to them. From there, they can securely grant access to that information to others within their family or team, as well as people who may not yet be using 1Password.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada. This position will be for 4 months - May to August 2026.
What you can expect:
Implement or improve features for the 1Password Desktop/Web/browser extension
Collaborate with engineering, product & design to deliver quality features to 1Password users
Implement solutions to challenging problems & participate in code reviews

Bonus points for:
Production experience in full stack software development with a passion for frontend development. Preference for experience with React, Typescript.
Production experience building complex client-side web applications
Experience with writing automated tests.

We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of most roles. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events.
