Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing

Job specific requirements:
Drive excellence in Project Management.
Plan and executes work plans, including development of risk assessments and contingency plans.
Analyze results of experiments and translate them into actionable recommendations with support.
Have strong knowledge of the commercialization process.
Identify and efficiently utilize necessary resources to achieve timely delivery of project objectives.
Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.


  • Minimum 4 years of product and/or process development experience in the food and beverage industry.


  • Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity.


  • Ability to develop, plan for, and carry out plant trials.


  • Able to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor: conduct appropriate testing, gather, and analyze data, and develop recommendations based on findings.


  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and manage complexity- from bench top to commercialization.


  • Participate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization

Full time salary, typical business hours with flexibility for trials outside of normal business hours.
