Opportunity Summary:

Ema is building the next generation AI technology to empower every employee in the enterprise to be their most creative and productive. Our proprietary tech allows enterprises to delegate most repetitive tasks to Ema, the Universal AI employee. We are founded by ex-Google, Coinbase, Okta executives, and serial entrepreneurs. We’re well-funded by the top investors and angels in the world. Ema is based in Silicon Valley with offices in Bangalore.

About the Role:

The Developer Product Marketing Manager will own the end-to-end activation and completion funnel for our partner and customer builders. The core mission of this role is to significantly shorten the time to first value for developers and empower them to build independently on our platform. You will be responsible for creating a cohesive developer journey by integrating documentation, in-product guidance, lifecycle communications, and community programs.

What You'll Do:

  • Documentation & Enablement: Design and build our documentation information architecture, creating a high-quality, comprehensive set of resources for our developers.

  • Lifecycle Marketing: Launch and manage behavior-based lifecycle communications (e.g., welcome series, activation nudges, re-engagement campaigns) to guide developers through the funnel.

  • Community Building: Launch and grow "Ema Labs" to foster a vibrant developer community, showcase successful projects, and generate valuable case studies.

  • Product-Assisted Enablement: Work with Product and Engineering to improve the first-time user experience (FTUE) with in-product checklists, contextual docs, and other guidance.

  • Metrics & Reporting: Define, track, and report on key success metrics to measure the effectiveness of developer enablement and marketing programs.

What Success Looks Like in 6 Months:

Within six months, you will have optimized the developer journey to reduce the median Time-to-First-Workflow (TTFW) to seven days or less. You will have developed 8-10 production-quality templates, and our documentation will cover all fundamental aspects of the platform. Our behavior-based lifecycle marketing will be live and showing measurable lifts in activation and re-engagement. "Ema Labs" will have successfully run 1-2 cohorts, producing over 30 projects and at least four case studies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, developer relations, technical marketing, or a similar role.

  2. Proven track record of creating and executing successful marketing and enablement programs for a technical audience.

  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to make complex technical concepts easy to understand.

  4. Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

  5. A data-driven mindset with experience in setting and tracking KPIs.

  6. Experience with Agentic AI is a plus.

Join our innovative team and play a key role in shaping the marketing strategy and success of Ema. If you're passionate about marketing, driven by creativity, and excited about the potential of Generative AI, we want to hear from you!
