Market leading investment bank requires a DevOps Engineer join their Technology Operations team. The team is responsible to allow the Firm to manage its technology and data related risks. Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with development architects, clients, and business analysts to build efficient solutions leveraging the appropriate technology stack
- Develop services and utilities based on Java/Groovy
- Ensure a consistent and fast deployment pipeline (Jenkins)
- Create tooling to improve developer experience
- Work closely with application teams to understand their needs to improve our systems
- Be in sync with the tools and processes available firmwide
Skills Required:
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Powershell, Python, Java, PHP, Javascript, node.js, HTML, SQL
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Passionate in providing high quality customer service and learning new technologies
- Able to take the initiative to investigate and follow-up with various stakeholders to resolve issues
- Solid understanding of release, deployment, and change management processes
