We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, automation, monitoring, and security of our cloud-based infrastructure and software delivery pipelines.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, infrastructure as code, and operational monitoring. In addition, this role requires a solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, infrastructure hardening, and security-aware automation.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a more senior DevOps or DevSecOps role while working closely with engineering, security, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Support cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.
- Work with containerized workloads using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Assist with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, availability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and environment issues.
- Support development, staging, and production environments.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Help improve deployment speed, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container image scanning, and IaC scanning.
- Support vulnerability management processes by identifying, triaging, and helping remediate security findings.
- Assist with secure secrets management using tools such as Vault, cloud secret managers, or CI/CD secret stores.
- Apply security best practices for cloud infrastructure, containers, networks, and access control.
- Help maintain least-privilege IAM policies and secure access patterns.
- Support audit, compliance, and security documentation where required.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to promote secure development and deployment practices.
- Monitor systems for security-relevant events and assist with incident response activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–4 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems administration, or a related role.
- Practical experience with OVH or at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Familiarity with Linux systems, shell scripting, networking basics, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker and basic container lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration concepts.
- Basic experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and release management.
- Basic knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and network security.
- Awareness of DevSecOps practices and common security tooling.
- Ability to write scripts in Bash, Python, or another scripting language.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
- Experience with Kubernetes security, Helm, service meshes, or ingress controllers.
- Familiarity with tools such as Trivy, Snyk, Checkov, SonarQube, Semgrep, OWASP ZAP, or Dependabot.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK/OpenSearch, CloudWatch, or similar.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and CVE remediation workflows.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, or CIS benchmarks.
- Experience with policy-as-code tools such as Open Policy Agent, Conftest, or Sentinel.
- Understanding of secure software supply chain concepts, SBOMs, artifact signing, and dependency pinning.
- Experience supporting production systems in a SaaS or cloud-native environment.
