Digital Project Manager- Contract Role

The Digital Project Manager plays an important role in delivering integrated, digital-first marketing campaigns by coordinating workflows, managing resources, and supporting cross-functional teams from concept through final delivery. This role combines creative problem-solving, vendor partnership, and operational excellence to ensure platform-specific assets are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with brand standards.

Working closely with creative, media, account, strategy, and external partner teams, the Digital Project Manager fosters a collaborative, inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued. They oversee timelines, vendor partnerships, and day-to-day project tracking, helping the studio operate effectively while supporting innovative, insight-driven work across channels. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys working in dynamic digital environments, communicates effectively, and brings a thoughtful, organized approach to managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities & Skills
  • Coordinate day-to-day production for integrated and digital-first campaigns, supporting effective resource planning and streamlined workflows across the studio team.

  • Partner with production, creative, media, strategy, account, and other cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, insight-driven work.

  • Communicate project requirements clearly and inclusively, ensuring stakeholders feel informed, supported, and empowered to contribute.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to track progress, address challenges, and support successful project delivery.

  • Develop and maintain project timelines and scopes, promoting transparency, accountability, and alignment across teams.

  • Prepare accurate and timely project updates and reports using spreadsheets, project management platforms, and workflow tools.

  • Coordinate digital asset trafficking and manage relationships with external vendors and partners.

  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues, freelancers, and vendor partners.

  • Contribute to an inclusive and innovative studio culture by sharing ideas, supporting continuous improvement, and championing digital best practices.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Approximately 4+ years of experience in production, digital project management, integrated marketing operations, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting digital advertising campaigns, including social, display, paid media, and platform-specific formats.

  • Experience with dynamic creative and digital video is considered an asset.

  • Experience in automotive, retail, or French-language marketing environments is considered an asset.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing changing priorities and budgets while maintaining focus on project goals.

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with an understanding of how creative deliverables support client objectives and performance outcomes.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to consider creative, strategic, and production perspectives when addressing challenges.

  • Experience building and managing vendor relationships, including negotiation and partnership development.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

The salary range for this position is CAD $85K-$100K. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
