About the role

 

We are seeking a Director of FP&A to lead our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Intelligence (BI) functions while also providing key support in Business Operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy, optimizing business performance, and ensuring data-driven decision-making across the company.

  • Develop and maintain KPIs and financial dashboards to provide actionable insights into financial and operational performance.
  • Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and optimize resource allocation.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support growth and risk management strategies.
  • Oversee analysis for strategic decisions with regards to new business models, strategic partnership agreements and geographic expansion.
  • Lead the assessment and implementation of AI tools into the operations of the business
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and board meetings.
  • Oversee financial and operational reporting, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with data teams to enhance financial dashboards and reporting infrastructure.
  • Promote a data-driven culture, integrating financial and operational insights into decision-making.
  • Support analytics initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy and performance tracking.
  • Partner with the CFO to run the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve financial efficiency, scalability, and business performance.
  • Assist in board and investor reporting, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment.
  • Support pricing strategy, capital allocation, and other strategic financial initiatives.
  • Develop and implement frameworks for operational excellence across departments.

About you

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A (BI and Strategic experience a plus)
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS, technology, or enterprise software companies is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting (GAAP), financial and operational principles
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and BI platforms (e.g., Mosaic,Tableau, Looker).
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to lead and collaborate cross-functionally and connect financial insights to business strategy.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be located in the Bay Area or Greater Seattle

  • 💰 Competitive Compensation. For this role our salary is targeted at $168,000 -$210,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. We take a geo neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.

  • 30 min interview with a member of our Talent Team
  • 45 minute zoom interview with the Hiring Manager
  • Three video interviews with several team members - 3 hours
