  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure strategic cohesion across programs, campaigns, and content pipelines.

  • Build cross-functional alignment through evidence-based decision-making and performance insights.

  • Drive a culture of accountability through measurable outcomes, using analytics to inform strategic investments, priorities, and resourcing.

  • Has a “Player-Coach” mentality where no task is too small to dig in and complete.

Program Leadership and Innovation

  • Integrate data and AI-driven insights into every stage of campaign design—from audience segmentation and messaging to channel optimization and post-campaign analysis.

  • Collaborate with project leads and committees to identify opportunities for growth, retention, and impact.

  • Deliver structured reports and executive summaries that translate data into clear strategic recommendations.

  • Lead a modern content strategy optimized for both human and generative AI audiences—ensuring visibility, accuracy, and discoverability in AI-driven search and synthesis tools.

  • Oversee development of high-impact content that meets editorial-quality standards while serving SEO, performance marketing, and brand objectives.

  • Introduce AI-assisted content workflows that accelerate production, improve consistency, and free teams to focus on high-value storytelling and thought leadership.

  • Continuously test and refine content based on engagement analytics and sentiment insights.

Marketing Operations & Performance Management

  • Lead the marketing operations roadmap, ensuring the effective integration of data platforms, automation tools, and AI-enabled analytics.

Events & Brand Activation

  • Direct event promotion strategy to achieve measurable results in engagement, and brand awareness.

  • Align pre- and post-event content strategies with overall campaign objectives and performance indicators.

  • Use data to evaluate third-party event ROI and refine global event strategy based on participation insights, community opportunities and lead-generation outcomes.

Financial Management & Sustainability

  • Drive financial planning and budgeting for CNCF’s marketing programs, optimizing resource allocation through data-backed decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and program expansion through performance insights.

  • Secure and justify program budget increases where needed by demonstrating measurable impact and ROI.

Stakeholder & Community Relations

  • Build trust-based relationships with project leads, members, contributors, and ecosystem partners.

  • Translate technical and community-driven objectives into compelling, data-supported marketing narratives.

  • Lead enterprise-wide stakeholder management, influencing C-level executives, board members, and external partners through strategic storytelling and reporting.

Global Collaboration & Travel

  • Requires periodic domestic and international travel throughout the year for events, leadership summits, and strategic engagements.
