As a Director, Publisher Business Development, you will prospect, acquire and grow relationships with strategic publishers within the fast paced and ever growing video and programmatic monetization landscape. Understanding the Minute Media technology and sales differentiation will be the key to success against the competition. 

What You'll Do:

  • Drive revenue from publisher partners to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Assist in building and refining Minute Media’s publisher development strategies.
  • Build relationships across publisher organizations (executives, sales teams, ad ops, research).
  • Track and manage publisher acquisition pipeline and account activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams on sales strategy, techniques and execution.
  • Interface with the Minute Media Account Management team to transition new Publishers to the post-sales team.
  • Manage all facets of the sales process from pre-sale to close, including ongoing sales consultation..
  • Present Minute Media’s offering in front of key decision makers.
  • Represent Minute Media at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience working at an ad serving technology company, an ad network and/or large media company
  • Strong knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem 
  • Proven negotiation skills and strategic mindset
  • Existing relationships with large premium publishers (highly desirable)
  • Experienced in pipeline management using tools such as Salesforce, SimilarWeb, Red Volcano, Looker, Monday.com
  • AI curious with an understanding of automations and a desire to incorporate AI into daily workflows 

The expected salary for this position is $150,000. This position is also eligible for performance-based compensation. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. The benefits available for this position include flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, 401(k) with company match.
