Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to be a successful sales leader, acting as the "business manager" for Walmart, working effectively with cross-functional team leadership, and demonstrating strong financial and analytical acumen to own the "big picture" while also bring able to drill down and own the details as needed.
- Demonstrate Best in Class account management Operation Plan, driving growth in Revenue and Net Margin to help us achieve and exceed our goals. Develop and execute a strategic plan to win for your business, with a clear path to goal achievement.
- Managing promotional strategies, working closely with internal teams to develop annual promotional plans for new and existing items within your ROI goals.
- Critical decision making, being able to make decisions quickly based on evidence and analytics in a fast passed environment that will tie back to your over-arching sales strategy and goals.
- Drive the strategy and own the outcome for customer meetings, leveraging internal support areas to present product strategies and products effectively.
- Execution focused; mindful of key milestones and a demonstrated ability to create and adhere to a schedule to ensure success.
- Working with the Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to optimize the flow of goods, including the monthly forecast cycle and long-range plans.
- Working with Commercial and Category Analytic teams to report POS, trends, factors impacting the business.
- Gathering and communicating competitive factors impacting the business
- Leading others on the team including Key Account Managers and Sales Analysts.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required/MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of national account sales management or equivalent experience working directly with a retailer in a buying or merchandising function, Walmart experience mandatory.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical and technical skills to gather and analyze large sets of data and create reports for management.
- Ability to work cross functionally and under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build, develop and maintain solid relationships.
- Proven analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Ability to travel 4 to 6 trips per year - to Boston/Needham, USA, trade shows, Walmart meetings & market visits out of the area.
