The Senior Director, Strategy, Transformation & Enablement is a senior leadership role within the Chief Product & Technology organization. This leader will help shape platform and technology strategy, lead critical transformation initiatives, and establish the execution discipline needed to scale the organization effectively.
Working closely with product and engineering leadership, this role will co-lead platform strategy, drive technology strategy, oversee complex transformation programs such as migrations and technology rationalization, and manage a team of program managers delivering strategic initiatives. The role also leads SDLC process improvement and transformation, including the adoption of AI tools across engineering functions.
Key responsibilities1. Platform product strategyPartner with product leaders to help define and refine the IRM SaaS platform product strategy
Translate strategic priorities into executable roadmaps and cross-functional initiatives
Support prioritization decisions across platform capabilities, modernization efforts, and growth initiatives
Help ensure alignment across product, engineering, architecture, and delivery teams
Partner with the platform engineering leader to shape technology strategy
Drive strategic planning around architecture evolution, platform modernization, and engineering transformation
Help identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, scalability, and technical efficiency
Support long-range planning for technology investments and rationalization
Lead enterprise-scale transformation initiatives across the product and technology organization
Drive migration programs, technology rationalization efforts, and other strategic change initiatives
Establish clear governance, milestones, risk management, and executive reporting for transformation work
Ensure initiatives are delivered with strong accountability and cross-functional coordination
Improve consistency in how large initiatives are planned, tracked, escalated, and delivered
Drive organizational rigor across interdependencies, milestones, and change management
Oversee platform release trains, release governance, and cross-functional release readiness across the organization
Drive discipline around SaaS platform upgrades, version management, deployment planning, and upgrade execution to ensure predictable, high-quality releases
Partner across product, engineering, DevSecOps, and support teams to improve release coordination, operational readiness, and post-release stability
Establish standard release processes, upgrade playbooks, and governance mechanisms to reduce risk and improve delivery consistency
Oversee SDLC processes across the product and technology organization
Drive SDLC transformation to improve quality, speed, productivity, and engineering discipline
Champion adoption of AI tools across software development workflows, including design, coding, testing, documentation, and delivery
Establish best practices, governance, and measurement around AI-enabled engineering productivity
10+ years of experience in senior leadership positions including strategy, transformation, product operations, engineering operations, PMO, or related leadership roles
Strong experience working in product and technology organizations, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, or platform environments
Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs, including migrations, modernization, or technology rationalization initiatives
Strong understanding of platform strategy, technology strategy, and software development lifecycle processes
Experience driving SDLC transformation, engineering process improvement, or developer productivity initiatives
Strong knowledge of AI tools used across software development workflows and a strong point of view on their operational adoption
Experience building enablement or learning programs for internal delivery teams, Professional Services teams, or partner ecosystems
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills
Proven ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
