Position Summary
We have a current vacancy for a Sales Manager, Airspace Mobility Solutions – Canada who is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in support of the growth strategy for the Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) business line. This role focuses on both new and existing customers—including NAV CANADA, the Canadian Department of National Defence, provincial governments, and emerging mobility stakeholders such as drone and Advanced Aerial Mobility (AAM) operators—through direct and indirect sales channels.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Sales Manager will drive territory growth and profitability by building strong relationships, expanding the customer base, and developing a robust pipeline of opportunities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, capable of managing a large portfolio while balancing the needs of multiple active accounts and prospects.
This role operates in close collaboration with global AMS teams and Thales NORAM stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategy, execution, and customer engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field or in lieu of a degree, 4 years of directly related experience as equivalency.
10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in capture management, business development, or sales within the North American aviation market.
Demonstrated knowledge of aviation operations and air traffic management frameworks.
Established experience and professional network within the Canadian Air Traffic Control (ATC) and/or Defence markets.
Proven track record of achieving and growing sales results while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality proposals in response to customer RFPs.
Experience leading capture activities and managing complex business development opportunities from identification through close.
Experience partnering with senior and executive leadership to shape sales strategies, solution positioning, and go-to-market approaches.
Exceptional sales, communication, and customer engagement skills, with the ability to manage the full customer acquisition lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusting relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
High degree of initiative, adaptability, and motivation, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will posses strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to propose sound solutions to complex challenges coupled with fluency in French.

Special Position Requirements
Travel: Travel to customer sites and industry trade shows/events in Canada and US as required; potentially one annual outside NORAM region for internal training/teambuilding – 25-50% travel expected
The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $170,000 - $220,000 CAD Annual.
This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee’s career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company’s annual salary budget, the customer’s program requirements, and the company’s internal equity.
