Job Description

About The Role

The Electrical Project Coordinator supports the delivery of major Electrical projects, with a focus on traffic signals and highway lighting design. The role coordinates multidisciplinary technical inputs, tracks deliverables, and facilitates stakeholder interface management to ensure high-quality and timely project execution.

  • Coordinate technical tasks and deliverables across disciplines (civil, electrical, structural, compliances, sustainability). 
  • Support traffic signal and highway lighting infrastructure design.
  • Coordinate the engineering documentation (technical notes, design basis, supporting studies). 
  • Manage technical interfaces with client and project stakeholders; support responses to comments, RFIs, and design reviews.
  • Maintain project tracking tools (deliverables register, action log, issues/risk log).  
  • Prepare meeting agendas/minutes and produce technical status updates. 
  • Ensure document quality, version control, and proper filing (SharePoint / Teams), BIM/drawings review. 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional certification or eligibility for certification (P. Eng., PMP) is an asset.
  • Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in technical coordination and delivery of infrastructure projects (aviation or electrification projects preferred).
  • Proven ability to manager multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project, AutoCAD)
  • Familiarity with sustainability and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations for diverse audiences
