What You’ll DoSubject Matter Expertise
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Metals trading, including precious and base metals
- Focus on physically settled metals transactions and related front-office workflows
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from traders and key stakeholders
- Clearly articulate scope, assumptions, and dependencies for requirements
- Analyze and understand the impact of upstream and downstream systems on business processes
System Enhancements & Delivery Support
- Collaborate with technology teams to identify and drive system enhancements supporting Metals trading activities
- Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly
- Support solution deployment and ensure successful adoption by business users
Data Analysis & Insights
- Conduct data analysis to provide insights that support trading strategies and risk management
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize processes and outcomes
Stakeholder & Change Management
- Partner closely with traders and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and regulatory compliance
- Manage change requests and support structured change management processes
Testing & UAT
- Participate in testing activities, including test planning and execution
- Collaborate closely with business users during UAT to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and meet business requirements
- Proven experience in Metals trading, ideally with a focus on physically settled metals
- Strong understanding of banking and capital markets products and services related to commodities
- Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and manage business requirements
- Experience in change management and managing change requests
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, traders, and stakeholders
- Experience with Openlink Endur is a strong asset
- Experience in testing and quality assurance is a plus
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on high-quality deliverables
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Experience working in front-office trading environments
- Exposure to complex trading system integrations and data flows
- Prior experience supporting UAT in capital markets platforms
