Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced electrical device characterization to identify electrical failure mechanisms.
- Operate fault isolation equipment to identify defect locations.
- Conduct physical failure analysis to identify physical defects.
- Generate hypotheses and pinpoint possible failure mechanisms derived from electrical models and physical failure analysis, facilitating process refinements.
- Collaborate closely with various partners, including frontend to backend teams and the Global Quality (GQ) department, to address defectivity issues.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on electrical and physical failure mechanisms every week.
- Develop and refine new strategies for fault isolation and physical failure analysis.
- Lead a team of CE PYE technicians, ensuring high standards and effective coordination of tools and resources.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or a Master's or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong drive to excel.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to present effectively in large meetings.
- Highly motivated individuals with a passion for technology.
- Familiarity with fault isolation tools, methods, and physical failure examination is highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of non-volatile NAND devices and familiarity with Fab processes is advantageous.
- AI proficiency or experience with AI-enabled work methods is beneficial.
