Test safety-critical products by developing automated tests, triaging and debugging failures, improving features and processes, collaborating with design for test coverage, and participating in meetings, bug scrubs, and code reviews.
YOUR ROLE
As an Engineering Intern on our team, you’ll be responsible for testing safety-critical products used by our Aerospace, Industrial and Automotive customers.
In your daily job you will:
- Help develop automated tests to validate product functionality
- Triage and debug test and product failures
- Contribute to improving features and processes
- Work closely with the design team to ensure proper test coverage for features
- Participate in team meetings, bug scrubs and code reviews
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Pursuing bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong in RTOS Fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills
- Python experience is a must
- Knowledge of Agile SW development in corporate environment will be an asset
- Knowledge of development tools will be an edge such as linters, IDEs and debuggers is an asset
- Virtualization knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of git and Linux is a must
- Knowledge of Jenkins or similar orchestration tools would be an asset
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as pytest will be an asset
- Knowledge of static analysis and dynamic analysis tools is an asset
