THE OPPORTUNITY: 
The Project Coordinator is a detail-oriented and organized person, providing project administration support for various business operations and planning activities. As a Project Coordinator within Technical Analysis' Business Operations and Planning team, you will work closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure the efficient setup, administration, and execution of projects, focusing on project housekeeping, tool maintenance, documentation, and supporting key business processes. This is an on-site role in our Ottawa office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO 
 

  • Subscription Product/Project Setup: Support the setup and administration of new subscription products, ensuring smooth rollouts and implementation in collaboration with the Project Management Operations (PMO).
  • ERP System Administration: Perform routine project tasks in ERP systems (Salesforce, NetSuite) to maintain data accuracy, including task assignments, timeline adjustments, and project tracking.
  • Business Process Documentation: Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining PMO business process documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in procedures.
  • Project Management Tool Support: Help with setup, maintenance, and updates to PMO project management tools, ensuring proper configuration for project teams and stakeholders.
  • Follow-Up on Action Items: Proactively follow up with internal teams to ensure timely completion of action items and project deliverables.
  • PMO/Operations Backup: Provide support as needed, including backup coverage for operational processes such as shipping.


 
WHO YOU ARE 
 

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project administration, or business operations, preferably in a technical, engineering, or information services environment. 
  • Proven experience in project coordination or administration, ideally in a technical or business operations setting.
  • Works independently, applying knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Contributes to business process development and maintenance, ensuring alignment with company goals and PMO standards.
  • Effectively integrates team efforts to achieve objectives and provides informal guidance to team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping, scheduling, and documentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, liaising with internal stakeholders and departments.
  • Clear in explaining job-specific information while maintaining organizational and data consistency.
  • Basic project management knowledge, with a willingness to learn new tools, technology, and terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Salesforce and NetSuite experience a plus.
