About the Role
Identifies and analyzes business needs in coordination with all departments to develop requirement blueprints. Defines scope and objectives to be integrated with business processes/data, interrelated systems and IT infrastructure. Makes recommendations and implements solutions in ERP and MES systems. Develops detailed specifications and validates solutions with stakeholders and communicates business stakeholder needs to development team. Conducts training and provides ongoing support in coordination with ERP and MES solution providers.
Your preferred qualifications

  • Completion of University degree or College diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 3-4 years ERP and MES experience in information systems capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • A background in project management, programming and IT infrastructure would be considered an asset
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software (i.e. MES, WMS, MRP, ERP)
  • Experience with Intermec label printers and Honeywell scanners.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with all departments in the company as well as with vendors and customers.


Compensation: $80K + depending on experience

Who we are looking for

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of automotive customer EDI and label requirements.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.


Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the analysis, implementation, and tier 1 support of the ERP and MES software.
  • Coordinate with programmers on any customization and ensure integrity with interrelated systems.
  • Communicate requirements and support concerns to ERP and MES solution providers.
  • Gather requirements and work with cross-functional teams to develop and improve processes.
  • Organize and document user acceptance testing including data refresh of the test environment.
  • Maintain open issues documentation, project timelines and budget status for regular updates to business.
  • Conduct on-going maintenance and support of all ERP and MES related hardware including printers and scanners.
  • Manage and document user accounts and access security groups.
  • Manage the design, installation and support of all shop floor data collection, product tracking and systems integration including radio frequency and bar-coding technologies.
  • Focus on continuous development and improvement for all plant systems, hardware, and software.
  • Follow and adhere to requirements of current customer quality and environmental management systems standards.
  • Abide by all plant health, safety and environmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards, policies and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.
  • Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement
  • Maintain 5S standards in working environment
  • Attend training based on Mytox's internal training matrix
  • Performs all job functions in a safe, healthful and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health, safety and environment rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbook
  • Performs other duties as assigned or any reasonable request by management.
