Your Mission

The Events Marketing Manager will play a key role in scaling AfterShip’s Events Marketing function by driving consistent, high-quality execution and contributing to overall events strategy across tradeshows and other field events.

Sitting within the Marketing team, this role owns the end-to-end execution of AfterShip’s tradeshow and field events program, while also helping shape how events support pipeline growth, customer engagement, and brand presence year over year.

Working closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and other Marketing partners, the Events Marketer will plan, execute, and report on in-person, virtual, and hybrid events—primarily tradeshows, but also webinars, customer dinners, and smaller hosted events. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic thinking, requiring strong operational rigor alongside the ability to improve how events are planned, prioritized, and measured over time.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Marketing Events Strategy: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AfterShip’s tradeshows and field events program, from annual calendar planning and event selection to onsite execution and post-event analysis.
  • Execute High-Impact Logistics: Manage all operational details for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, including vendor negotiations, venue selection, staffing coordination, and inventory management.
  • Drive Revenue & Pipeline: Partner cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to ensure seamless lead routing, ROI reporting, and alignment with GTM priorities.
  • Lead Customer Advocacy: Build relationships with key clients to secure speaking engagements and testimonials, and spearhead the design and execution of the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) program.
  • Manage Budgets & Operations: Full ownership of the event marketing budget, including expense tracking, invoice processing, and maintaining the efficiency of swag and booth assets.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Product Marketing and Partnerships on webinars, customer dinners, and partner-driven events to ensure a unified brand presence.

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility to work outside of regular business hours and the ability to travel across North America are required.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of experience in events marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing
  • Proven experience owning end-to-end execution of tradeshows and field events
  • Strong operational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, invoices, and event inventory
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking and continuous improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapts well to changing priorities

Bonus:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or eCommerce
  • Experience supporting customer marketing or customer-led events
