We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to focus on our platform to help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we’re looking for a DevOps engineer who can be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with Python or Scripting, and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended. The DevOps Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining our AWS infrastructure with respect to site creations and system administration such backups and monitoring to ensure our application stays resilient.
Responsibilities:
Manage/maintain our application infrastructure in AWS
Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
Build automation tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
Develop automation scripts to integrate with internal back-end systems
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
Develop scripts to automate visualization
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
Experience with AWS
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker nice-to-have
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
Experience with Ansible or similar infrastructure management tool(s)
Good knowledge of Python, Shell Scripting

Proficiency in Linux Operating Systems
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
General understanding of networking concepts (ie. Firewalls, VPN, Security Groups)
Problem-solving attitude
Collaborative team spirit
Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role is based in Canada if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work remotely. You will be required to meet in an EverCommerce office from time to time. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America. There may be travel required to clients locations (less than 10%)

Compensation: The target base of compensation for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 CAD in most Canadian locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
