Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the equity research team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with others and is willing to take on new challenges. Please note that overtime is required on occasion for this position.

 


Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Equity Research and Research Analysts;
  • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements;
  • Assist with HR initiatives and office management;
  • Process expense reports and invoices in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Maintain various databases, records and other documents;
  • Other administrative duties for the department;
  • Assist with special projects as required.


Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant,
  • Interest and experience within the financial services industry;
  • Post-secondary education required; Degree preferred;
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
  • Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to excel under pressure;
  • Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently.


Total Rewards

The expected base salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 and will be based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, Canaccord Genuity offers a competitive total rewards package, which may include:
