How you will make an impact:

The Customer Channel Group (CCG) RSD Canada is a distribution business serving the Canadian scientific research, healthcare, and industrial markets. As the Finance Manager, reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be a key member of the Canada Finance team, partnering with commercial and functional leaders to support financial performance and business decision-making. You will lead a talented Finance team, partner with business leaders across Canada, and is responsible for financial planning, reporting, and business analytics while providing financial insights that help improve business performance, identify opportunities, and support operational excellence.

What you will do
  • Support commercial team for business opportunity proformas and business reviews

  • Lead the annual operating plan (AOP), monthly business reviews (MBR), and financial forecasting processes.

  • Partner with Sales and cross-functional leaders to provide financial analysis and support business decisions.

  • Prepare and lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, KPIs, and capital expenditures (CAPEX).

  • Perform financial analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.

  • Develop financial models and business analyses to support operational and commercial initiatives.

  • Monitor financial performance and recommend actions to improve business results.

  • Prepare clear and concise financial presentations for business leadership.

  • Support continuous process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and financial controls.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Finance team while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

How you will get hereMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant finance experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant finance experience.

  • Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.

  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide practical business insights.

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.

  • Experience with Power BI, Hyperion, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled productivity tools is an asset.

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Demonstrated initiative, sound business judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation

The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $85,500.00–$128,250.00.
