Job Description

Position Summary

The Manager will join the North American Portfolio Management team within Brookfield’s Infrastructure business. The team partners closely with operating businesses and internal stakeholders to drive performance, generate value, and support strategic decision-making across the platform.

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis and FP&A support, monitoring performance against plan, supporting valuation and business planning processes, overseeing quarterly IFRS financial reporting, and onboarding new assets. The role offers broad exposure across the organization, with regular interaction with teams including Financial Reporting, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Tax.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, demonstrates strong business judgment and intellectual curiosity, and brings a solid finance and accounting foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, high-quality FP&A analysis, including results and liquidity forecasting, growth capital and backlog analysis, and KPI reporting, to support decision-making
  • Support the annual business planning and valuation processes for the North American platform, including reviewing and analyzing complex financial models
  • Prepare quarterly results presentations for Brookfield senior management
  • Oversee quarterly and annual IFRS financial reporting submissions from operating assets
  • Develop a strong understanding of the operating businesses to clearly explain financial performance, key business drivers, and strategic issues
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new assets into Brookfield’s finance and accounting processes
  • Partner regularly with finance teams across operating businesses and Brookfield Infrastructure  public and private fund finance teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes across a growing operating platform
  • Support strategic ad hoc analysis and special projects, as required

Qualifications

  • A CA or CPA designation, ideally with Big Four experience, and at least 5 years of progressive work experience; advisory experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, initiative, and sound judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to dive into the details
  • The ability to work effectively in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to review and occasionally update financial models
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including the ability to translate financial results into clear, concise messages

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 CAD
