The work mode arrangement for the position is full-time on site.

Desjardins Financial Security Investments (DFSI) Ottawa has a great opportunity for an experienced Financial Advisor. As an individual advisor, you will contribute to the intake, prospecting, solicitation, development or maintenance of business relationships with members and clients. You offer a service that meets the needs of the clientele according to the strategies and practices in effect. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Develop and maintain personalized business relationships with clients in your field

  • Promote and sell products and services according to the strategies and business objectives, while making the most of your ability to meet our targets

  • Ensure consistency between sales objectives, sound and prudent risk management, profitability and member and customer satisfaction

  • Work with a clientele with diversified needs, representing a significant development potential for your sector

  • Analyze the needs of clients, develop and implement appropriate solutions and present integrated service offers. The nature of the files and of your interventions requires strong knowledge of your sector

  • Provide advice and support to current and potential clients

  • Represent and engage the company in client agreements and have opportunities to establish and negotiate terms and conditions for products and services

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Mutual Funds License and LLQP

  • Accident Benefits and Sickness License
