Financial Analyst (FP&A)

We’re looking for an FP&A professional to support better, faster, and more confident financial decision-making at Rewind as we scale our SaaS business. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, partnering with teams across the company to help them understand performance, plan ahead, and make thoughtful trade-offs.

You’ll own key parts of forecasting, reporting, and analysis, translating financial data into clear insights that inform day-to-day and longer-term decisions. You’ll also play a hands-on role in evolving our FP&A function, improving how we plan, measure performance, and use automation to work smarter.

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving, is comfortable being uncomfortable, and wants to influence outcomes through clarity and rigor—not just reporting.

What you’ll doFinancial planning & forecasting
  • Support annual planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis across key areas of the business.

  • Build and maintain Rewind’s operating models related to revenue, headcount, and operating expenses.

  • Help evaluate trade-offs related to growth initiatives, hiring plans, and investments.

Business partnership & collaboration
  • Partner with functional leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to understand goals and financial needs.

  • Provide financial inputs that help teams make informed, data-driven decisions.

  • Collaborate with senior finance leaders to prepare materials for leadership and Board or investor discussions.

Reporting & performance insights
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting that highlights performance, trends, and variances.

  • Analyze results against plan and forecast, explaining key drivers in plain language.

  • Translate financial and SaaS metrics into clear narratives for non-finance partners.

SaaS metrics & analysis
  • Track and analyze core SaaS KPIs such as ARR, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV, and payback.

  • Support deeper analysis of unit economics, revenue drivers, and customer behavior.

  • Help ensure consistent definitions and reliable reporting across teams.

Process improvement & tooling
  • Identify opportunities to improve FP&A workflows, models, and data quality.

  • Work with Accounting, RevOps, and Data to reduce manual work and strengthen source-of-truth reporting.

  • Experiment with automation and AI-enabled tools to make forecasting and analysis more efficient.

What you’ll bring
  • 3–5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years of hands-on FP&A experience

  • Solid understanding of financial statements, basic accounting concepts, and SaaS business models.

  • Experience supporting leaders or managers with financial insights and analysis.

  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; comfort working with structured datasets.

  • Clear, thoughtful communication skills—you can turn numbers into insights and insights into action.

  • A proactive, curious mindset and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have
  • Exposure to FP&A, planning, or BI tools (e.g., Adaptive, Mosaic, Runway, Looker).

  • CPA, CFA, or progress toward a professional designation.

  • Exposure to leadership, Board, or investor reporting.

Compensation Philosophy
The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

If your expectations are above this range, it may be because your experience aligns with a more senior level. In some cases, we’re open to hiring at a higher level for the right person and are committed to paying competitively and fairly.

If your experience is closer to an earlier career stage, we may still consider your application. In that case, we would evaluate the role at a different level within our levelling framework, which would correspond to a salary below the range shown.

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at Rewind.
