We are looking for a Financial Controller who can conduct analysis on the revenue and the gross margin of the company, giving insight on the drivers of the performance, from the customer segmentation perspective and from the product perspective.

This position is an Individual contributor role reporting to Axel, our Chief Financial Officer.

What you'll do

As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring insight on the financial performance of products and services delivered by the company, to support the decision making process.

Your general missions:

• Produce a monthly gap analysis on the revenue performance against budget, prior year and prior month: the analysis should include insight around customer segments and product dynamics
• Produce a monthly gap analysis on the gross margin performance against budget, prior year and prior month : the analysis should include insight around customer segments and product dynamics, pricing and costing of products
• Build an in-depth understanding of the company’s processes related with service delivery to customers. In doing so, build strong collaboration relationships with the Operations and Engineering teams.
• Perform ad hoc analysis on subjects ranging from: vendor’s comparative analysis, pricing and costing analysis, customer segments revenue performance.

What you bring

• You have 3 strong years of experience in financial analysis or equivalent experience,
• Full autonomy in producing a gap analysis explaining the revenue and gross margin’s performance against various scenario,
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks,
• Analytical skills enabling to controls his/her own work, summarize progression and communicate effectively to anticipate bottlenecks of technical roadblocks,
• Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn the logic and workings of ERP systems.

Remotely. Work from your home or wherever. As long as you have a good and fast internet. Iteratively. We do 2 weeks sprints, daily deploys (if not more), and timely code reviews to ship quickly and minimize bugs. 

Collaboratively. Weekly AHOM, written weekly, quick biweekly video status meetings. Basecamp and Trello managed projects. We work as a team to help make our product better.
