We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Systems Analyst to join our finance systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tasks and maintaining our financial systems to ensure optimal performance and support financial reporting and analysis. You will work closely with various finance departments to streamline processes and enhance system functionality.

System Support & Analysis: Perform tasks in our key financial systems while looking for areas of improvement or enhancements

System Analysis: Evaluate existing financial systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.

Implementation & Support: Assist in the implementation of new financial software and tools; provide ongoing support and training to users.

Data Management: Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data; develop and maintain data models and reporting frameworks.

Reporting: Create and automate financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support decision-making processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT, finance, and other departments to align financial systems with business needs and ensure seamless integration.
Experience you'll bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial systems analysis or a similar role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, SQL, Excel); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly.

Certification in financial analysis (e.g., CFA, CPA) or project management (e.g., PMP) is preferred

Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
