This FP&A Analyst role will be part of the growing FP&A team working with business leaders across the company as a vital link between business functions and finance. The analyst in this role will build, update and interpret business needs into financial insights through financial models and strategic business analyses. This role provides a great opportunity to utilize your analytical skills and expand your forecasting and planning know how helping to drive data driven decisions through robust relationships with key business leaders. In addition, the analyst will help support cash flow and headcount forecasting by working closely across the Finance and Accounting team while being accountable to deadlines, accuracy and serving as a financial business partner. A successful individual in this role will be self-motivated and utilize his or her keen eye for detail to support the company’s overall financial goals.

Essential Job Duties

  • Partner with key leaders across the company, establish trust and quickly understand the business, economics and metrics
  • Focus on sources of variability, understand causes and implement data-driven forecasting improvements
  • Design, prepare, and automate periodic dashboards / reports of operating results, trends and metrics for leadership and executive team
  • Leverage insightful data analysis to develop robust models on trends, key business drivers and financial results to prioritize & plan key decisions
  • Transform data models and trending analyses into meaningful insights regarding financial impacts to the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements
  • Support preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables
  • Monitor business performance against KPIs and strategic plans
  • Be impactful in identifying improvement areas and/or working on opportunities to improve processes, reporting or other similar financial operation areas

Other Job Duties

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHA exchange leader.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or other similar analytical discipline
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience to cash flow forecasting/analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in an FP&A or similar analytical role
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to understand the "big picture" yet preserve a keen eye for details with extensive financial modeling (3 financial statement models, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and produce consistent results in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Self-starter motivated by identifying and improving or solving challenges
  • Advanced Excel skills (Index/Match, etc)
  • Experience with a planning tool (e.g. Adaptive, Anaplan, etc) a plus

The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $70,000-80,000 not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
