About the Role
The Senior Full-Stack Developer (AI) will lead the design and development of AI-powered applications across Doodle Labs’ product development organization.
In this role, you will combine deep full-stack engineering expertise with modern AI tools and automation to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You will work across mobile, web, and backend systems while integrating AI-driven capabilities that accelerate development workflows and improve product intelligence.
You will collaborate closely with product, design, and hardware teams to translate complex mission requirements into reliable, production-grade systems. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about AI-augmented development, intelligent automation, and modern software architecture.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and deliver features across mobile, web, and backend platforms
- Architect and build scalable applications using modern full-stack technologies
- Integrate AI and LLM-based capabilities into applications to enable intelligent automation and product features
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering workflows while maintaining high code quality
- Implement secure, maintainable, and well-tested software across the full development lifecycle
- Develop backend services and APIs supporting real-time communication and scalable data processing
- Implement robust test strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design and technology decisions
- Review peer code with a focus on security, performance, and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and hardware engineering to deliver production-ready solutions

Who You Are
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s preferred or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience building full-stack applications across mobile, web, and backend environments
- Experience with Python backend development using frameworks such as FastAPI or similar
- Experience with mobile development using Flutter or similar cross-platform frameworks
- Experience with modern web technologies such as React, Next.js, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience integrating AI or LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable application development
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments
- Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and system design
Preferred Qualifications
- True full-stack experience across mobile, backend, and web platforms
- Experience working in startup or high-growth technology environments
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
- Contributions to open-source software projects
- Experience publishing applications to Apple App Store or Google Play
- Familiarity with wireless networking or communications systems
