Position Summary:

We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer (macOS) with a strong quality-first mindset to design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions. This role goes beyond feature development: you will be deeply involved in test strategy, automation, and quality engineering, ensuring that correctness, security, and reliability are built into the product from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain macOS applications and supporting backend services with a focus on quality, reliability, performance, and security.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of features, from design and implementation through testing, validation, and release.

  • Collaborate with architects and developers to define technical requirements, test requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality gates.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in C++, Python, or other relevant languages across the stack.

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, system, regression) as part of normal development work.

  • Integrate security features and ensure compliance with secure coding and secure testing standards.

  • Perform code reviews, test reviews, debugging, and root-cause analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Improve test coverage, testability, and automation effectiveness.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by embedding testing, validation, and quality checks.

  • Stay up to date with macOS platform changes, emerging technologies, and evolving security threats.

  • Contribute to technical documentation, test plans, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Solid experience as a full-stack or systems engineer, with hands-on development experience on macOS or Linux platforms.

  • Strong proficiency in C++ or Python, with experience building reliable and testable systems.

  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, and quality engineering principles.

  • Strong testing experience, including:

    • Automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end)

    • Test design, test strategy, and defect analysis

    • Designing for testability

  • Experience with Agile development, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Background in security engineering, threat modeling, or secure coding/testing is a plus.

  • Experience with cloud environments, microservices, and databases (SQL/NoSQL) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven or AI-assisted software development is a plus.
