The current senior care payments experience is broken which increases costs and inefficiencies for senior living operators while making it confusing, cumbersome and stressful for families. Sunbound was created to solve this problem by building the first modern platform to handle this process end-to-end and save operators and families time, money and effort.

Our founders were inspired to start the business after seeing the pain points firsthand with their own families, and deeply care about helping one of the most overlooked groups in our population: seniors. Team. We're a dedicated, close-knit group focused on expanding hubs in Downtown Brooklyn, NYC, and Washington, DC.
Traction. Since launching in mid-2023, we now serve thousands of families. We’re currently doing 7 figures in ARR.
Growth. Sunbound has absolutely caught fire as a business, growing 30% month-over-month. The senior living market is massive at >$230b and is expected to grow rapidly as the “baby boomer” generation continues to age.
Funding. We've raised now multiple rounds of funding from top-tier investors. Our cap table includes TTV Capital, Fika Ventures, Bling Capital, Liquid2 Ventures, Cambrian Ventures and Max Ventures. These firms have collectively backed over 20 unicorns such as Square, Lyft and Rippling. We also have backing from key industry strategics including LiveOak Bank and Omega Healthcare Investors (the REIT).
We're looking a full-stack software engineer to join our team and help us grow our product. This is an early engineering role and will carry a lot of opportunities to work closely with the CTO and shape company direction and culture.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in architectural and engineering design decisions
Collaborate cross-functionality on product ideation and direction
Provide input into how offline processes can best be implemented in product
Help build an amazing, world-class product
BA or BS (or Master’s) in Computer Science or related technical discipline
4-6 years of experience in software development
Experience at fintech companies a major plus
Experience building software solutions incorporating disparate aspects of complex business processes
Proficiency in full-stack web development
Proficiency with React
Proficiency with Node.js or other back end frameworks like Rails or Flask
Clear communication verbally and in writing with non-technical stakeholders
Low-ego, tight-knit, collaborative, high-performing team
