We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.

About your role

The Global Accounting & Reporting Manager is a hands-on individual contributor leadership role responsible for executing and overseeing global accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

This is a player-coach role: the individual will directly perform complex accounting activities while providing structure, guidance, and review oversight to junior team members and offshore resources (if applicable). The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, operational rigor, and deep collaboration with FP&A to ensure accurate forecast-to-actual alignment and executive-ready reporting.

The ideal candidate thrives in high-growth environments and is comfortable owning both detailed execution and continuous process improvement.

What you’ll do
  • Execute key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including complex journal entries, reconciliations, and multi-entity consolidations.

  • Own critical balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of variances and reconciling items.

  • Perform monthly flux and variance analysis and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.

  • Manage day-to-day global accounting operations, including accruals, expense classification, cutoff procedures, intercompany activity, and period-end validations.

  • Maintain global accounting policies, documentation, and compliance with statutory and reporting requirements.

  • Partner with FP&A to align GAAP results with management reporting, deliver forecast-to-actual analysis, and provide insights to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Serve as the accounting owner within the ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and drive automation, system integrations, and process improvements to accelerate close timelines.

  • Support audits and compliance efforts, maintain internal controls, and coordinate cross-functionally with Tax, Treasury, and Finance Systems.

  • Prepare executive-ready reporting materials highlighting key financial drivers and business insights.

  • Provide oversight, mentorship, and process documentation to support team effectiveness and accounting excellence.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • CPA preferred.

  • 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience (public + industry preferred).

  • Strong US GAAP knowledge.

  • Experience managing multi-entity close processes.

  • Advanced ERP and Close reporting tools such as Numeric experience (NetSuite preferred).

  • Proven experience partnering with FP&A.

Preferred:

  • High-growth or multi-entity global environment.

  • Multi-currency consolidation experience.

  • Exposure to transaction readiness (audit, M&A, IPO preparation).

Compensation

Compensation for this position includes a base salary and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $145,000. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.

Benefits include:

  • Health, dental, and vision care for you and your family

  • Life insurance

  • Mental wellness coverage

  • Fertility and growing family support

  • Flex Time Off in addition to company-paid holidays

  • Paid family leave, medical leave, and bereavement leave policies

  • Retirement saving plans

  • Allowance to customize your work and technology setup at home

  • Annual professional development stipend

Your recruiter can provide additional details about compensation and benefits.
