The Human Resources Global Senior Manager will lead and manage all HR functions globally, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and compliance with local labor regulations in various regions. As the key HR point of contact for global team members, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in talent management, technology recruitment, compliance, and employee engagement. This role is critical in shaping a high-performance culture across diverse geographies while addressing region-specific HR needs.
Key Responsibilites
- Lead and manage the company's global People and Culture functions, ensuring that frameworks and procedures are relevant, compliant, and support the company's overall strategy.
- Drive recruitment efforts, with a focus on attracting top technology talent, and oversee end-to-end recruitment processes globally.
- Provide expert guidance to middle and senior management on global HR practices, including local regulations, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and retention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR standards across various regions, including managing regional audits and leading cross-functional HR projects.
- Develop, implement, and monitor global policies to ensure adherence to local employment regulations while maintaining the consistency of corporate HR strategies.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the People and Culture team, ensuring the continuous development of HR capabilities globally.
- Address complex HR issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee development, to foster a positive and productive working environment.
- Monitor and analyze global HR data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee and manage global benefits programs and ensure they are competitive and compliant with local regulations.
- Lead workplace safety initiatives and manage the Joint Health and Safety Committee, ensuring compliance with local health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain a sustainable global employee engagement strategy, listening to and acting upon team feedback.
Qualfications
- University degree or college diploma in Human Resources or related field.
- CHRP/CHRL designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive HR experience, including managing global HR operations and at least 2-3 years of experience recruiting for technology roles.
- Strong understanding of international labor laws and regulations, particularly across regions where the company operates.
- Experience managing HR functions in a multicultural environment and navigating local regulations.
- Business acumen with strong consulting skills and the ability to advise leaders on strategic HR issues.
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and the recruitment of technical talent.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing HR projects across multiple regions.
- Proficiency in HR systems (BambooHR, Confluence, Slack, Zoom) is desirable.
- Ability to speak in Spanish (preferred)
- Global mindset with the ability to travel and work across different time zones.
