The Role
The Global Mobility & Immigration (GM&I) team enables hiring, moving, and retention of talent. As a GM&I Partner - US Immigration, you will act as the primary point of contact, managing information flow among stakeholders in active and potential immigration cases. This role focuses on US Immigration, overseeing the entire lifecycle from assessment to permanent residency, including essential compliance tasks. You will work closely with new hires, employees, recruiters, hiring managers, HRBPs, designated immigration counsel, and the internal employment law team while also maintaining postings, immigration resources and compiling metrics/data as needed.
You Will

  • Manage US immigration caseload for nonimmigrant and immigrant visas such as H-1B, H-1B1, L-1, TN, O-1, E3, F-1, and various types of U.S. permanent residency.
  • Manage immigration assessment process for US candidates serving as the primary contact for recruiters and hiring managers exploring sponsorship viability with immigration counsel.
  • Liaison with immigration counsel to review and approve all immigration application submissions.
  • Advise the business on immigration impacts throughout the employee lifecycle, including hiring, transfers, promotions, job changes, and terminations.
  • Coordinate with business systems and talent operations to maintain Workday data integrity.
  • Escalate immigration issues to Lead, providing recommended solutions.
  • Manage internal governance processes such as H-1B cap season, PERM program management, and F-1 OPT support..
  • Compile program metrics to track and analyze immigration trends and program impact.
  • Contribute to the team's broader objectives, assisting with relocation services, international assignments, employee-driven transfers, and additional projects as needed.


You Have

  • 2-3 years in a corporate immigration/mobility role.
  • Strong expertise in US immigration required.
  • A customer-service orientation.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage tight deadlines and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong research and analytic skills to evaluate information and understand business impact.


Technologies We Use and Teach

  • Familiarity with Workday, Google Suite/MS Office, Slack, and Equus Software a plus

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
