We are looking for a Manager of Protective Intelligence to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will lead the company's threat assessment, investigation, and intelligence gathering efforts. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks to our senior leadership, employees, and assets worldwide. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing proactive security strategies, ensuring the safety and security of our personnel and facilities across global operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in building a robust protective intelligence program that anticipates and counters emerging threats in an ever-evolving security landscape.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive threat management program to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the organization and its leadership.
- Conduct in-depth investigations into security incidents, including workplace violence, theft, fraud, and other potential threats.
- Gather, analyze, and disseminate actionable intelligence to inform decision-making and support proactive security strategies.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of open-source and proprietary intelligence to identify emerging threats and trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, intelligence communities, and industry partners.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Provide expert guidance to regional security teams on threat assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security intelligence with business operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in security intelligence, threat management, and/or investigations, with a focus on executive protection.
- Proven track record in conducting complex investigations and developing threat assessments.
- Strong understanding of security technologies, risk assessment methodologies, and investigative techniques.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in building relationships with law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
- Proficiency in security information management systems and intelligence analysis tools.
- Experience in leading teams, managing projects, and making sound decisions under pressure.
- Professional certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional).
- Experience working in a defense or technology industry setting.
- Knowledge of government security requirements and classified information handling procedures.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and making sound decisions in emergency situations.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
