Summary

Docebo is in the middle of an important transition in our People Technology team, and we’re looking for a contract Dayforce HR Systems Analyst to provide hands‑on support while we hire our long‑term architecture roles. This role will help keep our core HR operations stable and reliable across North America and EMEA, ensuring Dayforce configuration, data, and workflows continue to run smoothly during the transition.

You’ll work closely with People Operations, HRBPs, Total Rewards, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Corporate IT, and our People Systems Architect to manage day‑to‑day configuration changes, data updates, troubleshooting, and high‑risk lifecycle actions in Dayforce. Your work will help reduce operational risk, clear backlogs, and create breathing room for the team to focus on long‑term design and AI‑enabled improvements.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as a hands‑on Dayforce administrator for core HR, supporting configuration changes, data updates, and issue resolution across multiple regions.

  • Process and validate high‑risk lifecycle changes in Dayforce (hires, terminations, job/grade changes, location and entity changes, Smart Working/hybrid updates), ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals.

  • Support People Ops and Payroll with Dayforce data audits and clean‑up activities, including identifying and correcting data errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.

  • Maintain, create, and run custom reports for multiple teams and departments, including HR, IT, Finance and Executives.

  • Partner with Total Rewards and Talent Development to launch and maintain the Performance and Compensation cycles.

  • Maintain and update organizational structures in Dayforce (departments, positions, reporting lines) in line with approved org changes.

  • Assist with configuration of Dayforce fields, workflows, and security roles based on clear requirements from the Director, People Operations and People Systems Architect.

  • Partner with Total Rewards and Payroll to support comp and benefits‑related configuration or data changes (where appropriate and within guardrails).

  • Investigate and resolve Dayforce‑related tickets and issues raised by People Ops, Payroll, and HRBPs, documenting root causes and fixes.

  • Run and validate Dayforce reports needed for audits, compliance, and Payroll/Total Rewards operations, working with Data/BI where necessary.

  • Support testing for configuration changes and integrations that touch Dayforce (e.g., Ashby → Dayforce, benefits/payroll feeds), following test plans and documenting results.

  • Document configuration changes, processes, and troubleshooting steps in a way that can be handed over smoothly to permanent team members.

  • Collaborate with the People Systems Architect on prioritising Dayforce work, highlighting risks, and suggesting simple process or config improvements where you see recurring issues.

What you bring
  • 3–5+ years of hands‑on Dayforce (or similar enterprise HRIS) administration experience, ideally across multiple regions or entities.

  • Practical experience processing and validating core HR lifecycle events in Dayforce (hires, moves, comp changes, leaves, terminations, location/entity changes).

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working directly with sensitive HR and payroll‑impacting data.

  • Familiarity with HR data structures (employees, jobs/positions, departments, locations, employment types) and how they show up in reporting and downstream processes.

  • Experience running and troubleshooting HRIS reports; ability to spot data quality issues and work methodically through clean‑up.

  • Experience creating custom imports via XML schemas in Excel and troubleshooting import logs.

  • Knowledge of Reporting and custom fields (SQL).

  • Experience in testing, implementing, and maintaining Performance, Compensation, and Hub.

  • Comfort working in a fast‑moving environment where priorities can shift week to week, with the ability to manage tickets and tasks across multiple stakeholders.

  • Clear, concise communication skills; able to explain system behaviour and data issues in plain language to non‑technical partners.

  • Strong sense of ownership and reliability—you follow through, flag risks early, and are comfortable stepping into an in‑flight environment.

  • Experience working with distributed teams and supporting both North America and EMEA time zones is an asset.

  • Experience working with Managed Payroll and ICPs is an asset.

  • Prior experience in a high‑growth or SaaS environment is a plus.
