Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention through programs such as recognition, rewards, and wellness activities.
  • Talent Management: Assist in talent management activities, including performance management, succession planning, and career development programs.
  • Organizational Development: Contribute to organizational development initiatives, such as culture assessments, change management, and team effectiveness projects.
  • HR Analytics: Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
  • HR Projects: Participate in special HR projects as assigned, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, employer branding campaigns, or HR technology implementations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with HR team members and cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and foster effective communication within the organization.
  • Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a final year undergraduate HR CO-OP program at a university or completed a university degree and pursuing a post-graduate HR CO-OP certificate program at a college.
  • Strong interest in HR management, strategic planning, and organizational development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior internship or work experience in HR management or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to work.


Schedule: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week in person at 277 Gladstone Ave, Toronto.
