Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the review, enhancement and development of all employment policies and the employee handbook.
  • Develop and lead the communication of company policy to all department managers, supervisors and employees to ensure consistency in understanding.
  • Provide support to managers and supervisors to ensure proper and consistent interpretation and application of company policies.
  • Provide support to all employees to ensure that concerns and questions are heard, understood and responded to in a professional, efficient manner.
  • Consult and provide direction on issues related to employee discipline, coaching and development.
  • Advise and provide direction on matters relating to Employment Standards, Human Rights, Labour Relations and remain current with relative legislative changes.
  • Manage all management-level staff recruiting and ensure that all divisional recruitment processes are managed effectively, including employee onboarding.
  • Manage training program, talent development and succession planning process
  • Manage compensation and benefit program at the divisional level including annual compensation reviews, pay equity & promotions.
  • Manage and participate in audits of key business systems including health & safety, environmental and compliance programs.
