The Human Resources Specialist plays a critical role in strengthening plant organizational effectiveness by developing employee capability and optimizing talent. This role partners closely with plant leadership to implement people strategies that enhance engagement, job security, and performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Human Resources Specialist ensures consistent application of HR policies, systems, and programs. This position supports both employees and leaders by aligning individual growth with business goals.

What You Will Do
Support day-to-day HR operations including policy updates, benefits administration, and HR system management.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders while advocating for team members and fostering positive employee relations.
Promote compliance with employment standards and ensure fair, consistent application of HR policies.
Resolve workplace issues efficiently by facilitating collaborative, win-win solutions.
Build strong relationships on the production floor to gather feedback, share insights, and support engagement.
Drive continuous improvement through HR audits, system enhancements, and strategic HR initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
One to three years of experience in a Human Resources role with a working knowledge of HR practices and standards.
Knowledge of Ontario Human Rights and Employment Standards Act (ESA) legislation.
Strong facilitation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and lead change.

$63,124.00 - $117,227.00However, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
